Innovation is more than a buzzword; innovation is essential to keep a company’s products and services relevant in the marketplace – especially in the dynamic markets we see today. Innovation is the process to help a business develop new products, services, and/or processes to help them better serve customers and allow them to grow their company. Many think of innovation as being a technology, like the iPhone, but innovation is all about how to use technology in new ways to support your business.

The COVID-19 pushed companies in every segment to innovate rapidly to adjust their business models, such as restaurants moving from inside dining to take-out, while also engaging technology, such as internet conferencing tools, to keep their workforce productive.  As we start to exit the pandemic, again companies are innovating to address the labor shortage while developing new business models that blend the best of their pre-pandemic and pandemic operations.

At The Ginn Group, we too are innovating to better serve our current customers.  Like other companies, we underwent an overhaul of our information technology infrastructure to address remote work needs for a workforce spread over several states.  We also used our IT infrastructure to rapidly disseminate health and safety information to our employees, many of which are focused on facilities and logistics services that cannot be done remotely.  For those employees affected by Covid, our Human Resources Department enacted enhancements to our medical leave policies to give them the time needed to recover with a minimum impact on their benefits.  These innovations allowed The Ginn Group to maintain essential services to our customers through the height of the pandemic.

The Ginn Group is also building our new engineering services brand, INGITEQ, to support post-covid economic growth in several areas including manufacturing, energy, aerospace, and technology. Many companies are restarting plants idled during the pandemic which requires specific engineering support services. Also, the pandemic greatly disrupted the worldwide supply chain which has caused many companies to now ‘onshore’ more of their operations leading to dramatic growth in new facilities, especially in the southeast U.S.  INGITEQ provides engineering and technology services to support those companies as they innovate for the emerging post-covid economy.

So, while innovation might be just a buzzword to some companies, it is an essential part of our DNA at The Ginn Group.  How can we help your company in your next innovation?
