Raising the Bar with Cranes and Overhead Lifts

Though it may not be your profession, many of us have probably used a crane before. Remember the claw machine at the arcade as a kid? A couple of coins to try to get a $2 toy. Well, in a sense, overhead cranes are the same thing, just on a much larger scale!

Overhead cranes and hoists can be used to carry large equipment and transport it to different areas. Unlike the claw machine, which is used for a challenge in agility, these machines are specifically designed for items that are too great to lift by human strength alone. If cranes were made back in the day, Stonehenge would have never been a mystery. This is because cranes help us do the impossible!

Cranes do the heavy lifting so you don’t have to.

Early skyscrapers were such a phenomenon because buildings had never been that tall before. Now, skyscrapers continue to grow taller and stronger than ever before because of what modern technology is able to do.

Yet, hoists are not just used for architecture. Different types of crane systems serve different purposes. Depending on the lifting capacity and size, lift applicators can do anything from lifting cars in industrial facilities, to lifting wheelchairs into backs of motorized vehicles. No matter what the job, no one can deny that these lifts make life more convenient.

At The Ginn Group, we are involved in many jobs that require cranes and overhead hoists. It has been our pleasure to provide such services to many army bases here and it will be our pleasure to provide services to you as well.

For more information on how we can assist you with your next big lift, give us a call. We’ll be glad to help.
